The Daily Collective: Crushing on Polka Dots

29 Feb

Modern Polka Dot Inspiration

Polka dots are not just for colourful fanfares, polka dots can be sophisticated and modern as shown in this black and white inspiration board.

We wanted to show you how such a simple pattern can be effective in a modern black and white theme. Black and white is such a simple colour palette but makes a bold statement.

From your gown right through to your venue decor you can create a contemporary feel with polka dots.

The Daily Collective: Burlap

Rustic Chic: Burlap

Print, fold, drape, wrap or ties bows – burlap is a versatile material and easy to incorporate into your wedding day.

While the mood board above inspires a rustic chic country look we think burlap would be just as at home in a modern setting and bring a different texture element to a city/industrial theme.

Burlap is an inexpensive material readily available and just needs some creative hands to make it work for you day!
